Work Description
This arrangement is based on the original piano solo version.
It is a set of variations consisting of a theme, five variations, and a finale.
The piece was newly composed to be performed at a wedding reception. As the venue was particularly stylish, I took inspiration from the architectural design of the building when shaping the music.
The performance time is approximately five minutes. The atmosphere is solemn, sacred, and brilliant—perfectly suited to a wedding setting. While preserving a classical form and aesthetic, I made extensive use of popular-style harmonies, resulting in a catchy and appealing piece that I personally feel turned out very well.
Although the original piano solo requires some advanced technique, the piano duet version distributes these challenges between two performers, making it more approachable and accessible.
